Here's What's Happening This Summer!

June 21st -Wednesday morning at 10:30am - Stuffed Pet Storytime-for ages 3 and up. Bring along your favorite stuffed animal to hear stories with you and make a craft.

June22nd- Thursday night at 7pm-Family Fun Night -for ages 5 and up. Enjoy crafts, snacks and of course, the Scavenger Hunt!

June 28th- Wednesday morning at 10 am-Sand Art Craft-ages 5 and up. Design you own sand art bottle.



June 29th-Thursday night at 7pm-Deputy Fire Chief Irv Gleason
and his canine partner Ebony. Ages 6 and up. Come and see this entertaining program about how important dogs can be in saving lives. Watch Ebony the detection dog demonstrate how.

 



July 11th-Tuesday at 7pm-Book Bingo!
- It's just like regular bingo but instead of using numbers, we use book titles and characters! Prizes are books and other goodies. For ages 5 and up with parental help.
 

July 12th-Wednesday afternoon at 2pm-Meet and Greet with Linda Overmoyer and her guide dog Royce. Linda will explain and give a demonstration of how Royce helps in her daily life. Don't miss this great learning experience! For ages 5 and up.

July 19th- Wednesday morning at 10:30 am -Make a Pet Craft-for ages 4 and up




July 20th-Thursday night at 7pm-8pm-Ballon Animal Workshop
-have you ever wondered how to make those crazy balloon figures? Here's your chance to learn to make your won and take some home for practice. For ages 7 and up.

 

July 22nd- Saturday morning at 10:30-11:30am - Chaps , Spurs and Ten Gallon Hats-A Celebration of the American Cowboy - Two "cowboys" will be decked out in their duds to explain why they wear what they wear, what cowboys do, and hard living in the West. For ages 5 and up. Don't miss this lively program.

 


July 25th-Tuesday night at 7pm-8pm. Paws, Claws, Scales and Tales Magic Show
with John Andrews-for ages 4 and up. Lots of audience participation and filled with comedy, puppets, and illusions! Sign up early for this one as this will be sure to fill up fast.

 

July 27th-Thursday night at 7pm- Meet World Famous Fantasy Artist Ed Beard-Ed has volunteered his time to come and introduce the art of illustrating books and games with mythical creatures, fairies, and other fascinating scenes. Drawing demo included and everyone in attendance will receive a Free autographed print. For ages 7 and up.





First week of August  - Remember to return your list of books you've read and receive your prizes!



August 3rd-Thursday morning form 10am-noon-Family Skating Party
-for all ages. Pick up free skating pass at the library. Skate rentals extra. Held at Trout Pond.

 

August 8th-Tuesday night at 7:30pm-Paws-N-Claws Gym Night-Come for some fun outdoors including animal games. For ages 5 and up.

 

August 23rd-Wesnesday morning at 10:30am- Pets Storytime-for ages 3 and up related stories are read and a small craft is made.
