What's New
The Library is just buzzin' with
activities for everyone's taste. Don't miss our
Art Exhibit through the month of April in our
community room. Artwork from students of the Muncy
High School will be on display during regular library hours
which are Mon, Tues and Thurs 1-9, Wed and Sat 9-4, and Fri
11-6. There will be an opening reception on Thursday,
April 17th from 6pm to 8pm. Come meet the artists and
view their works while enjoying refreshments made by the
high school's home-economics class. We invite everyone
to come and see what talented youth we have in the
community.
National Volunteer Week is
celebrated April 27 through May 3, and we would like to
shout out a giant THANK YOU!
to all of our dedicated volunteers who help make the library
run so smoothly. They are: Alma Reitz, Phyllis
Bertin, Mary Ann Way, Nancy Springman, Elsie Emick, Dan
Cotner, Clara Wall, and Robert Cressman. If you see
them on the street, make sure you tell them "thanks" for
volunteering at the library. We couldn't do what we do
without them!
The Library now has a computer in the
children's room with a collection of 34 educational games on
it for your young one and you to play together. Your
child will have a fun time with you while learning key
concepts needed for school success. Open a door to a
lifetime of learning through our new Early Literacy Station.
