We now have used videos for $1.00 (NOW just $.50) and DVDs for $2.00 (NOW just $1.00) on sale in the Community Room. We also have a nice selection of gently used children's and adult non-fiction titles for $.50. These are great to use in a classroom, homeschooling, or for homework. Current magazine issues are for sale for $.50 a piece including Smithsonian, Family Circle, Good Housekeeping, Martha Stewart, Food Network, and many other great titles. Stop in and take a look. All money from purchases go directly towards supporting the library.
Laptops are now available for public use within the library. We also have wireless if you would like to bring in your own laptop.

Programs
Caregiver Tips For Those With Alzheimer's and Dementia will be held Thursday, March 11th at 7:00pm. Taking care of loved ones with these conditions is trying on both the loved ones and the caregivers. Come learn some ways to make it a little easier for everyone.
Spring Book Sale will be held on Saturday, March 13th from 10:00am until 2:00pm. Come and find a treasure. Books sell at $1.00 per hardback and $.50 for paperbacks - or get a real deal with a bag of books going for just $6.00. Donations of CDs, DVDs, and books will be accepted prior to the sale. Please - no textbooks, oldie moldies, or Reader's Digest condensed Versions.
Bringing Back Bluebirds will be held Thursday, March 18th at 7:00pm. Participants will learn how to use appropriate nest boxes, habitat, food, and other techniques to draw bluebirds to their very own back yard - even in town!
Toddler Tales will be held Tuesday, March 23rd at 6:30pm. Miss Vicky will share stories, songs, and movement activities with your little ones.
Tween/Teen Game Night will be held Friday, March 26th from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Start the weekend off to a great start by stopping in the library to challenge a friend to Slap, Yahtzee, and a host of other fun games. You can also bring your own favorite!
Spring Is Here Story Time will be held Saturday, April 3rd at 2:00pm for ages 3-5. Children will hear stories about spring, sing and act out songs, and make a craft.
Culinary and Fragrant Herbs Program will be held on Thursday, April 8th from 7:00pm to 8:00pm. This free program is presented by the Lycoming Master Gardeners. Come and learn about the various types of herbs, how to grow them, and what they can be used for. Sample some edible herbal treats too!
Be A Pollinator Pal will be held Saturday, April 10th from 10:00am to 11:30am for ages 3 and up. This fun activity will be hosted by Master Gardener Helen Grosso who will discuss how the world's pollinators such as butterflies and bees are in trouble and how children can help them. Children will discover how to make their backyards more pollinator friendly. They'll also get to plant seeds and make a craft. Come bring a friend and explore the fun and exciting world of butterflies and bees.
Muncy/Hughesville Book Club will be held at the Muncy Library on Saturday, April 17th at 10:00am. This month's book is Ken Follett's The Pillars Of The Earth. Call the library to reserve your copy today!
The Kitchen Gardne for Beginning Vegetable Gardeners will be held Thursday, April 22nd from 7:00pm to 8:30pm. The Lycoming Master Gardeners will show you how to site a garden, prepare the soil, choose plants, fertilize, differentiate between garden pests and beneficial insects, how to control harmful bugs, and how to harvest mature vegetables. Get ready for spring planting - don't miss this informative program!
Stitching Circle meets the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month at 1:30pm. Everyone is welcome! Work on your own knitting, cross-stitch or needlework while enjoying the company of other "stitchers" in a cozy, book-filled setting. Don't forget to bring a friend!
